Game Rules

8-Ball
Fifteen balls are racked in a triangle and the eight is in the center. Fifteen balls are divided into two groups: balls lower than eight (SOLIDS) or all those higher than eight (STRIPES). Players will choose the corresponding group to shoot when the first ball is pocketed. Players should pocket all the balls in the selected group, then pocket the eight, to win the game. On every shot if a player pockets the eight, he loses the game.

Fouls:
1.When you shoot, the cue ball fails to hit any ball in your group first.
2.When you shoot, you neither pocket a ball nor make any ball hit a cushion.

9-Ball
OBJECT OF THE GAME.
Nine Ball is played with nine object balls numbered one through nine and a cue ball. On each shot the first ball the cue ball contacts must be the lowest-numbered ball on the table, but the balls need not be pocketed in order. If a player pockets any ball on a legal shot, he remains at the table for another shot, and continues until he misses, fouls, or wins the game by pocketing the 9-ball. After a miss, the incoming player must shoot from the posi-tion left by the previous player, but after any foul the incoming player may place the cue ball anywhere on the table. Players are not required to call any shot.

RACKING THE BALLS.
The object balls are racked in a diamond shape, with the one ball at the top of the diamond and on the foot spot, the nine ball in the center of the diamond, and the other balls in random order, racked as tightly as possible. The game begins with the cue ball in hand behind the headstring. START OF PLAY. The home team breaks first and writes their line-up down first. The break alternates thereafter. A game starts as soon as the cue ball crosses over the head string on the opening break.

LEGAL BREAK SHOT.
The rules governing the break shot are the same as for other shots except: 1. The breaker must strike the 1-ball first and either pocket a ball or drive at least four numbered balls to a rail, failure to do so is a foul. Incoming player accepts the table the way it lies with ball in hand or requests a rerack with cueball behind the head string. 2. If the cue ball is pocketed or driven off the table, or the requirements of the opening break are not met, it is a foul, and the incoming player has the cue ball in hand anywhere on the table. 3. If on the break shot, the breaker causes an object ball to jump off the table, it is a foul and the incoming player has the cue ball in hand anywhere on the table. The object ball is not respotted. 4. Making the nine ball on the break is an automatic win for the player breaking. However, if the cue ball is scratched when making the nine ball, the nine ball is respotted. (Using another stripe from tray) On the shot immediately following a legal break, the shooter may play a “push out.” If the breaker pockets one or more balls on a legal break, he continues to shoot until he misses, fouls, or wins the game. If the player misses or fouls, the other player begins his turn and shoots until he misses, fouls, or wins. The game ends when the nine ball is pocketed on a legal shot.

END OF GAME.
The game ends at the end of a legal shot which pockets the 9-ball; or when a player forfeits the game as the result of a foul.

15-Ball
Fifteen balls are racked in a triangle and all the object balls are placed randomly. On every shot, you must pocket a ball. If the cue ball goes in, it is a foul. Any pocketed ball is spotted when a foul is committed. The player who pockets more than 61 points(each ball has a point value equal to its number) wins the game. If both sides score 60 points at the end of the game, the player who scores the ball with number '15' wins.

Rotation
Rotation is played with 15 object balls numbered one through fifteen and a cue ball. On each shot the first ball the cue ball contacts must be the lowest-numbered ball on the table, but the balls need not be pocketed in order. The player who pockets more than 61 points(each ball has a point value equal to its number) wins the game. If both sides score 60 points at the end of the game, the player who has pocketed the ball with number '15' wins.

BlackJack
Fifteen balls are racked in a triangle and all the object balls are placed randomly. On every shot, you must pocket a ball. If the cue ball goes in, it is a foul. Any pocketed ball is spotted when a foul is committed. The player who pockets 21 points(each ball has a point value equal to its number) wins the game. If a player's score exceeds 21, the score is reset to 0.

3-ball
Three balls are racked in a triangle and all the object balls are placed randomly. On every shot, you must pocket a ball in order. Each player starts at 100 score points. If you miss a shot, score -1. If foul, score -2. When all object balls are pocketed, the player with a higher score wins. If the scores are tied, object balls will be reracked.

14+1
Fifteen balls are racked in a triangle and all the object balls are placed randomly. You score 1 point if you pocket a ball legally. If all object balls are pocketed, they will be re-racked. The player who reaches 20 points first wins the game.

Killer
Fifteen balls are racked in a triangle and all the object balls are placed randomly. Each player starts with 3 lives. If you fail to pocket a ball legally, Life -1. The player who loses all lives first loses the game. Exception: On the first shot of a game, you won't lose a life even if you fail to pocket a ball legally.

Coin-Team
It adopts the 8-Ball rule. Instead of playing against another player, both players are in one team to play against the AI.

Bonus Pool
15 balls are racked in a diamond shape, your task is to pocket them all. With one ball pocketed, you score 100, but if you fail to do so, you lose 100 instead. You can get bonus points according to how you pocket the balls. suppose: (3),(4,1,9),(5),(6,7),(8),(2) is the ball sequence you pocketed. The balls in one bracket were pocketed successively. So, In bracket (4,7,9),there are two 'successive pots',and in (6,2),you have one. For each 'successive pot', you'll get 500 bonus points. So you totally have 3 'successive pots' in your pocketed sequence, then you'll get 500 X 3=1500 bonus points. Now look at the pocketed sequence again, you'll find 4 follows 3,6 follows 5, 7 follows 6 and 8 follows 7,they are called 'sequential pots', for each 'sequential pot', you'll get 500 bonus points too. So, you'll get 500 X 4=2000 bonus points. The total bonus points you'll get is 1500+2000=3500. Another example, if your pocketed sequence is (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9), It means you have 8 'successive pots' and 8 'sequential pots', then you'll get 500 X 8 + 500 X 8 = 8000 bonus! But it's extremely hard to get. If you fail to pocket all balls in 20 shots or you pocket the cue ball, you lose the game.
